We’re looking for great stories, regardless of genre or style. Film or TV, comedy or drama, sci-fi or gory horror — we’re looking at your overall skills as a writer.

We don’t farm judging out to unknown readers. Our judges do all reading in-house, and we have a head judge with a name, a face, and a real desire to find the very best writers.

Tim is a proud dual citizen of Australia and the USA. He wrote for the Aussie soap opera Neighbours when he was 22; he had a senior role on the movie Borat (he has stories); he created, wrote, and directed a 13-episode comedy series for the Travel Channel; his feature scripts have been optioned, he directed a stage version of one of his scripts in LA in 2023. His first book on Screenwriting 'The Audience and You' is now available everywhere.
Tim has dedicated himself to helping writers and building community through his competitions, script coaching, writing workshops and live events.
Angela Bourassa
Co-founder
Angela is a working screenwriter, mom, and repeat-binger of THE OFFICE. In 2019, she won the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards Gold Prize in the science fiction category and was a two-category finalist at the Austin Film Festival. In 2020, her script IF YOU WERE THE LAST landed on the annual Black List, and the completed film, starring Anthony Mackie and Zoe Chao, is now available to view on Peacock. Angela is repped by Fourward and UTA.
