We are happy to announce that the three winners of Write/LA’s 2019 screenwriting competition will have their winning scripts reviewed by Script Pipeline as part of their push to help top writers from all the most respected screenwriting competitions gain more industry access.
Script Pipeline’s creative execs will review the three winning screenplays and consider them for additional industry circulation to their network of production companies, managers, agents, and directors.
Former Script Pipeline contest winners and finalists have sold over $7 million in specs to studios and had numerous films produced, most recently 20th Century Fox’s Stuber and breakout indie thriller The Standoff at Sparrow Creek, both released in 2019.
Currently, Script Pipeline only considers winning scripts from a select group of screenwriting competitions, such as the Academy Nicholl Fellowship, the Austin Film Festival, and PAGE. Write/LA is excited and proud to be considered among these ranks.
